Mix-Tapes - Smix-Tapes

Mix-Tapes are still strange to me. I understand some dudes got a lot to say fast as they can & others r so loaded with talent they gotta do projects between projects but I'm so focused on quality of every word and sentence I construct in my patterns that I don't kick out songs like I use to. I guess I feel sometimes quantity is only achieved by slacking at quality. So let me know how y'all feel about it, cuz when I heard songs that weren't supposed to be released by Artist I like & someone releases it on web just cuz' I still hear why Artist choose to leave em' off the albums.

Well I'm on that level like Lynch is. I'll do & am gonna be Mix-Tapes to give somethin cuz fans been waiting & I get that it's hype for Album but better make sure that the Mix-Tape has your heart involved like my Bro Vamp with his Mix-Tape near release

That's some real shit

they have their place if ur an upcoming artist as a way to introduce yourself... or to fill in some time in between albums... but when "rappers" are pushing out mixtapes one after the other and getting nowhere..... its probably time to get a 9 to 5, sell some weed...do something... anything.... these social networks are making it too easy for weak links to get in the game.... or at least the illusion that they are in the game....

I feel what everyone is saying on this. If you are going to do one then it should be lava or nothing. I think they should only be one right before the new album drops but that's it you don't need 80 mixtapes before the album or niggaz are going to get tired of hearing what you have to say cause they already heard it 80 times on those 80 mixtapes.
