A question for the whole Made camp...
It seems DE is either a little jealous, or is has gone off the deep end. I get the fact that he's tired of the BS commercialism of rap and every other genre of music , and i am too. But now hes taking shots at Lynch??? there is soooo much music in the world that is untainted, and is still a pure expression of creativity by an artist. For every genre not just rap. What made him change his mind about Lynchs Strange trilogy?

DE is a fool
..every genre of music has its roots from which it is derived from. Eventually "pop" influences infiltrate the music watering it down and eventually all of the root influences are washed out and ur left with a fake, empty version of what that music once was. Whens the last time you heard a funk based rap song on the radio? Mid 90's? Funk had such a big influence on rap as a whole and the fact that its presence isnt even heard today (at least on whats on the radio) is ridiculous.
I mean look what commercialism did to rock in the 80's..before that you had some of the most influencial music of all time. Look how jimi Hendrix influenced music in just 4 years. flash forward 10 years and you have a bunch of white guys wearing spandex, make up, and have more hairspray on than most girls.
For DE to use dre and em as scapegoats as to why pop influence took over rap is just stupid. Even retarded..its been something thats been going on since the 60's. Eventually rap will re-revolutionize it self just like all the other types of music that has been decimated by corporate greed. I feel sorry for all the kids who listen to and eat up the mainstream bullshit..between the radio and MTV they never had a chance
